Florida Suits Me Well

So I haven't written a blog in a month, I have done plenty...Just didn't have any inspiration to do so! I am now back on track and will try to post more often!

I have started working at TGIF as a waitress and I absolutely love it.

Hmmm recent events...Well nothing really besides work and my friend Sams 25th birthday!!!

I bought her a cake, sash and tiara to wear the whole night we were at roundup we had such a blast!!

Yesterday was such a fun Sunday! The Original plan was go to the beach and play some volleyball and just hang out, but a huge storm came through so we went bowling instead, what a great idea.

After bowling we walked outside and their was SUNSHINE!! So we decided to go to a local park and play some volleyball, I have not been so active in a while and it was amazing, we played 3 games of volleyball where our team won 2 of 3 times.   Then someone had a basketball too so we played a game of that to 21 which was super fun.

After that we decided to go home and shower off and meet up for a game of Settlers of Catan...perfect timing too, the weather turned into rain again, thanks weather for staying nice for the 4 hours we played sports!

4th Of July

This 4th of July I got to spend it on the beach!! I didn't take any pictures cause I didn't want my camera/phone around water and sand, but this is kind of what I saw

It was such a crazy experience, I have seen many firework shows but this one was by far the best experience. I say this because the beach I was on did their own firework show but much like this picture, you could see fireworks being set off for miles at all the other big beaches. Match that up with friends and sitting on the beach hearing the ocean waves, I haven't experienced much better!

My Events Were:

 hanging out with a bunch of friends enjoying the 90 degree weather

 playing beach volleyball where I ended up doing some splits on accident!

Zach and I, he didn't have as cool of a hat as me so he added a frisbee to his attire

Hope  everyone had an amazing 4th and I am grateful for our independence!

My Aunt Linda was in town this past week and I already wrote about the first half of our trip. After Kissimmee, FL We went on a little 3 day Bahamas cruise, where we stayed at the beach all day and enjoyed the beautiful sun!

In Hollywood, we went on the boardwalk and looked at all the little shops.

In South Beach we went to a place called the Shakin Penguin which was on tv called Hotel Impossible where they got renovated, we then had their signature drink called the Shake your penguin, I wanted to steal the shaker, but I didn't!

Kissimme [kiss*SIM*me]

This past Sunday (June 10), my lovely Aunt Linda came out to visit, we are not done with the whole trip yet but I wanted to talk about the half of it we spent in Kissimmee, FL! 

Our first stop was next to a sports place that had this awesome entrance!

We didn't do any Disney parks this time but we did roam around and go to Celebration, Fl which was a town built by Disney that is supposed to be the perfect town, they have everything! From a gas station to their very own university. You don't buy the homes you just rent them and sign a lease for 75 years, although it was cute I wouldn't want to live there.

We also went to Titanic museum, this would have been the 3rd one I have been to, they give you a passport and you see if your person made it in the end

We also went to Old Town in Kissimmee, FL which was so cute!!

It had rides shops and restaurants. We didn't go at night, but I am sure the town is REALLY alive then!

We then went to a dinner show called Capone's and it was based in the mobster era it was so fun! I met my new mobster love from Chicago after I had been arrested once with no convictions eh eh....well he was impressed anyways!!

Now I am off to go on a cruise to the Grand Bahama Island so I will write when I get back!!

Midnight Swim!!

Last night was such a great night out!!! I went down to Fort Lauderdale Beach with my friend Jessica and enjoyed some subway sandwich of the day (Italian BMT) and spent some time on the beach enjoying the relaxation of the water noises

At midnight we met with some other friends and decided to take a nice swim in the ocean, man that wasn't on my Florida to do list, but it should have been!! It was so relaxing and fun. The water was such a nice temperature and I didn't freeze to death when I got out of the water. 

All in all it was a great night out.

Just a couple weeks ago I went to Utah for a very special occasion, to see one of my closest friends April (Case) Hansen get married!

I made it a week long visit and got to do a lot of great things including:

Eat at Costa Vida with Jeremy and Sharla 

Raspberry Chipotle=Yummy!!

Go to Fillmore Hot Springs with Jeremy, Jason, Paul, Random strangers 

It was so much fun we had glow sticks and goggles so we could see the bottom!

Lunch with Trista Hudson and her daughter Ryli at Snow dragon

Awesome, even though Tiffiny Taylor couldn't attend :'(

Shave'n'Ice and Avengers with Ryan and theater popcorn!!

Something I miss about Sanpete, IT'S SO MUCH CHEAPER!!

Sadly my camera was stolen at the end of the trip so I didn't end up with my group pictures

I then made my way up to salt lake to see Debbie Coffin and her girlys, I missed Angie SO much I was glad to see her and meet her 3 new adopted girls.

We went to a picnic sunday at Ruthys home where I later met up with Keagan, I have missed him very much too.

We went to eat at iggys where we sat outside and it took forever for service, we later went back to his mom and dads and did a lot of catching up.

I then made my way back to Vegas and met up with Jeremy, Lacy, Jason, and Paul.
